Everyday consumer items from which the produce from mining is necessary at some point in the life cycle, are everywhere. Let us look at the environmental and human consequences of mining and what it has to do with us? at the end, we propose some solutions and give you the opportunity to be part of the solution.


What happened in Brazil?

The Samarco-Dam broke in November 2015 in Minas Gerais, Brasil. Tons of iron tailings contaminated the surrounding area and killed 19 people. But did the victims got help already? Are the fines paid?

Sustainable Mining?

Is it even possible to consider mining as sustainable? What can be done to help the workers in the mine and how are all the mines connected with our everyday life in Germany?
